Thikkodi Grama Panchayat Mission
To achieve the following objectives with the participation of all citizens of the Grama Panchayat:

Public Participation: Ensure transparent governance by involving all sections of the public in the development process through Grama Sabhas (Ward Assemblies) and various committees.

Social Welfare: Guarantee basic facilities (clean water, electricity, roads) for all, provide safe housing for the houseless, and implement special schemes for the upliftment of marginalized sections.

Environmental Protection: Enhance the efficiency of waste management systems as part of the Haritha Keralam Mission, ensure coastal protection, and safeguard water sources from pollution.

Education and Health Sector: Improve the standard of health and educational institutions in the Panchayat to ensure excellent medical care and quality education for everyone.

Protection of Cultural Heritage: Promote and protect Thikkodi's indigenous art forms like Theyyam, Thira, Kalari, preserve the historical memory of its port, and maintain its unique communal harmony.

Economic Growth: Achieve economic stability and increase self-employment opportunities by promoting small-scale industries, tourism potential (coastal area), and the agricultural sector.
